36 weeks…

Pregnancy is one of the most beautiful times in a women’s life. Before you know it, you’ll be holding your new little bundle and the wonderful pregnancy ups-and-downs are quickly now in the far back of you mind. Being able to capture this for the mommy to be is one of my favorite things.

Colleen is 36 weeks pregnant with baby boy number 2 and she couldn’t be more beautiful!! She came completely prepared and had some great ideas that she wanted to try out. Her confidence really shows through in these breath-taking images.

My first try at a wedding… well, everything minus the ceremony.  My good friend Jessica presented me with this fantastic opportunity that I couldn’t resist. Thank you for letting me practice on you!

The chill in the air produced goosebumps and red noses, but  the location was beautiful. Not to mention so were the subjects… and here are the very lovely new Mr. & Mrs.

Caleb was such a little snuggle bunny during our shoot. At just a mere 5 days old, he was an angel and slept for most of the session… couldn’t have been more perfect!!!!

These two sisters are only a few months apart and are the best of friends. Lots of bear hugs, silly giggles and top secrets were shared during this session!

Taylor and Dakota are twin high school seniors this year at McFarland.  Dakota plays on the football team, while his sister manages it. These two were so much fun to photograph and Taylor was willing to get into the freezing ice-cold water for one of my favorite shots of the day.

brothers, sisters & cousins…

The other weekend I got to photograph two families at once.  Her sister was in town and decided that this would be a great opportunity to get a nice shot of group, including the newest little one, born a few short weeks ago. And I’m sure you’re thinking wow, that’s a lot of kids in the house at once… but they were so well behaved and listened to every word that I said. They were all phenomenal!

And this cute little bugger held his head up the entire time. Yes, he is only a couple of weeks old!!! Amazing!
