9 weeks: raya….

warning! gorgeous family ahead! they were so sweet, full of smiles and best of all, adored their new baby girl to the fullest. their eyes lite up and their smiles were huge when they spoke about their daughter. meet raya and her beaming parents:

miss mallory…

it’s been a while since i’ve updated my blog and that’s because i had a wonderful opportunity to photograph an entire daycare center! it was super fun photographing hundreds of children! i would love to post some, however, since the parents weren’t there to sign a model release form, i can’t post any .

but i can post these! this is miss mallory. oh what a doll she was and FULL of smiles – big thanks to her two big brothers who adore her oh-so-much! here is miss mallory, the sweetie!

i love this family. the mom and i connected the minute we met last year. she has 3 children and one baby on the way! I cannot wait to photograph her again in november and that new little baby of hers in december!

can’t even tell that this little cutie pie has a black eye, can ya?!

i fell in love with preston the moment they took him out of the car. he was such a trooper too and was happy with every pose i put him in, expect for in the lake.

3 months: wilson

for those of you who know me, or have had the chance to work with me, you know that when i talk to my babies, i occasionally add either a mr or miss in front of their name… so when i started calling him mr. wilson at the shoot, i stopped and apologized to his parents, who then laughed at me and asked if i was referencing mr. wilson from dennis the menace or mr. wilson from home improvement. hahaha, these parents are great (dad works in CA, fly’s out there every week and has some pretty good stories, yeah, ummm, lady gaga.) and the mom is as sweet as they come with the biggest (whitest) smile i’ve ever seen.

so without further ado, here is their mr. wilson:

brothers: trey & miles

5 months ago, this session was booked. little miles was still in momma’s belly, trey was anticipating being a big brother and mom knew she wanted me to capture her two son’s together and then document trey’s birthday and miles turning 3 months. it was perfect.

3 months: tyler…

back in may, i held a contest for all those mommies out there, in spite of mother’s day. the way the contest worked, was anyone could submit a ‘mommy and me’ photo of them with their precious babe(ies) and then get their friends to vote for their photo in my mommy and me facebook photo album. heidi did a phenomenal job of getting her family, friends and friends of friends to vote for her and she won, with over 90 votes, a free session with me!

oh mr. noah, so very sweet, handsome and let me tell you, he’s a serious one too! and he means business! i met him when he was in his momma’s belly, shoot him when he was only a few days old and now he’s 3 months and taking the world in!

the bubble on his lips in this next picture is one of my favorites. little babies always blow bubbles and do ‘raspberries’ and this photo captures it.

people ask me what my favorite age is and hands down, i have to say 6 months. they are just learning to sit (so they stay in one place!) and when they sit, they get this super cute look on their face like “look at me!”. this little girly is a perfect example. aside from her beautiful big eyes, little ringlets and creamy skin, she enjoyed laying on her back, grabbing her little piggies and sitting up. just a doll!!
