miss mallory…

it’s been a while since i’ve updated my blog and that’s because i had a wonderful opportunity to photograph an entire daycare center! it was super fun photographing hundreds of children! i would love to post some, however, since the parents weren’t there to sign a model release form, i can’t post any :(.

but i can post these! this is miss mallory. oh what a doll she was and FULL of smiles – big thanks to her two big brothers who adore her oh-so-much! here is miss mallory, the sweetie!

 

 

 

 

37 weeks…

37 weeks along and looking awesome! we had a great time incorporating her daughter and her soon-to-be step-daughter in the photos. i wish i could take credit for the lipstick idea, however it was all sara! brilliant idea and the girls had so much fun doing it too!

family of 4…

i woke up this particular saturday morning, reached over to check the weather on my blackberry and gasped. wind gusts up to 20 mph and below normal temperatures for the beginning of september. it was cold. and i mean freeeeeeezing cold! I put on my layers, including my knee high socks and met this adorable family at the park. they were all wonderful and did much better than i would have done in the cold. even though the nature wasn’t on our side that morning, they still pulled through like you wouldn’t believe, producing some amazing family photos!

37 weeks…

my friend, Sam, has always told me that one day she’ll find some reason for me to take photos for her. well, the time has finally come and i photographed her beautiful pregnant belly at 37 weeks! we did both indoor and outdoor photos and my favorite ones of the day are, hands down, the outdoor ones. don’t get me wrong, the indoor ones were perfect, but sunset + perfect belly + two happy and anxious parents = the best maternity photos i’ve taken! congrats zach and sam! we love you!

this little brown eyed girl attends the same daycare as my kids and loves my daughter so much! she also loves boats, which i quickly learned at the photo shoot at the park by the lake! it was a rainy day and since the mom wanted the ‘classic mini session’, we got out of there and into our dry cars before the rain fell harder.

5 days new…

jordyn came to my house wearing a cute little outfit… the size: 3 months. she was a healthy, 10 pound baby girl at birth with a head full of hair.

it took her about an hour to get into a deep sleep in my studio. i managed to snap a few photos, add some cute hats and change her arms around just before she woke back up, several minutes later. i had just enough time to get those sleepy dreamy baby shots that mom and dad will love and cherish forever!

i love this family. the mom and i connected the minute we met last year. she has 3 children and one baby on the way! I cannot wait to photograph her again in november and that new little baby of hers in december!

can’t even tell that this little cutie pie has a black eye, can ya?!

updating the blog!

it’s safe to say that the summer is catching up to me now! wow, it’s been a crazy one. and i am so very thankful for all of my wonderful clients that i have met. it’s been a wonderful summer!

i received a phone call from a very familiar voice. it was mark traver, owner of traver graphics ( http://www.travergraphics.com). i used to talk with him on a weekly basis at my previous job. here is his gorgeous senior daughter, sarah.

miss rya, full of spunk and personality! i love her! this was the second time i’ve had the chance to photograph her and once again, i fell in love with her sweet personality!

i fell in love with preston the moment they took him out of the car. he was such a trooper too and was happy with every pose i put him in, expect for in the lake.
